Previous Phylum

The Phylum Brachiopoda ( LAMP SHELLS )

Characteristics of this pylum include, bilaterally symmetrical. It has more than two cell layers, tissues and organs. The body cavity is a coelom. Posseses an open circulatory respiration system. Reproduces sexually and feeds on fine particles in the marine environment it lives in.

The next Phylum

The Phylum Priapulida ( Phallus worms )

Characteristics of this phylum include, bilaterally symmetrical. It's body has more than two cell layers, tissues and organs. Body cavity is a coelom. Has no circulatory system. Reproduces sexually, and lives in marine environments

We can see a relationship here because all three phylum possess, more or less, the same characteristics in terms of reproduction, apperance, habitat, and feeding. There is a close connection between each phylum to the pylum Mollusca, because the pylum Mollusca is in between them.
